More warmth for Christmas

(Moldova, November – December 2022)

To give some warmth to the weakest and the needy people. “More warmth for Christmas”: this is the name of the project, supported by the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George and also sponsored by the National Union of Knights of Merit of the Italian Republic, by the National Operational Coordination for Environmental Protection and with the support and help of those who wish to participate, which the Hope & Help – Speranță și Ajutor association intends to implement.

In this period of uncertainty, caused above all by the particular international situation due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, those who suffer, as usual, the most fragile people (women, elderly and children) as well as thousands of refugees who have lost everything, have nothing left, they just have their own dignity and the hope of being able to live normally again.

In this painful scenario, Hope & Help, with the help of all of you, intends to bring a smile, concrete help, a little warmth in those hearts so hard hit.
The donations that will be collected will be used for:

1. Buy pellets to distribute to the most needy to survive the winter;
2. Buy small gift bags to distribute to kindergarten children and reception centers for children without parents on the occasion of the Christmas holidays;
3. Buy basic necessities (long-life food, products paramedical and hygiene, etc.) to be distributed to the most fragile;
4. Create the first small playground and meeting space in which children they can have the joy of playing and the elderly to keep them company, on a surface already identified of about 250 square meters, in the town of Ghioltosu.

The non-profit association Hope & Help – Speranță și Ajutor, is based in the Republic of Moldova, in Cantemir District. Born in December 2021, it has already had the opportunity to stand out for its commitment lavished in support of the less fortunate by guaranteeing direct support to over 2000 people, especially women and children fleeing the tortured territories of war. Since its foundation, it has always collaborated with various associations in Italy and abroad.
