The Constantinian Order Charity Onlus was established on May 29th , 2017 by H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, as Grand Master of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, with the intention of promoting the creation of a fund for purposes of public utility and social solidarity, and in particular for charitable activities as well as hospital and social assistance, especially in case of urgent need. The Constantinian Order Charity Onlus is legally represented by H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies and by Dr. Alessandro Viola Cortes.

The SACRED MILITARY CONSTANTINIAN ORDER OF SAINT GEORGE, with its Chancellery in Rome, located in via Giosuè Carducci n.4, tax code n.97109670584, is an Equestrian Order whose origins, by tradition, date back to Emperor Constantine, after the appearance of the Cross in Saxa Rubra (October 27, 312 AD); that is why it is considered one of the oldest Orders of chivalry.

The Italian State has formally recognized the legitimacy of the Order and, since 1963, has authorized Italian citizens to wear the decorations awarded by the Order itself according to art. 7 of Law 178 of March 3, 1951. The Order is also registered at the Chancellery of the Court of Naples in the register of legal persons.

The Knights of the Order can be part of the Italian National Association of Constantinian Knights (A.N.C.C.I.), established as a non-profit organization with a decree of the President of the Republic of March 30th, 1973.

Since August 1st , 2011, the Constantinian Order enjoys special consultative status in the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations Organization (ECOSOC-ONU).

The Order, adapting to the current times, also intends to give its greatest contribution of action to Hospital Care and Charity. For this reason, in the management of donations received for carrying out its charitable activities, it uses the Constantinian Order Charity Onlus.

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George is also a Dynastic Order owned by the Royal Family of Bourbon Two Sicilies, which is currently headed by H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, who also holds the position of Grand Master of the Order and Guardian/Protector of the Charity Onlus.
